YS BLADES

YS BLADES are the ultimate figure skating blades made in Japan by Yamaichi Special Steel Co.,Ltd.

Since 2013, we have been crafting blades with superior craftsmanship.
With only several years after the debut, YS BLADES made it to the podium of world's biggest stages.

What made this possible was our century-long experience specializing in steel, advanced metal processing technology, top-tier equipment, and most importantly, our passion and dedication to craft blades that truly support skaters.

  • YS BLADES are inspired by Japanese swords.
Japanese swords made from Tama Hagane are characterized as “unbreakable, unbendable, and razor sharp.”
It is no wonder then that we would use this steel to design our YS BLADES.

  • All the characteristics are
    for skaters.

YS B LADES thoroughly eliminates various risks so that skaters can concentrate on skating without worrying about injuries or blade conditions.Furthermore, In figure skating, where performance composition and expressive power are important, costumes and equipment also play a major role in increasing scores. YS BL ADES has evolved from the welding of three parts (blade, front bracket, and rear bracket) to integral molding by machining the material, pursuing design. You can get the beauty that looks good on the rink.
