The MIYABI stands out with its longer and taller sizing compared with other models, delivering superior control for skaters during steps, spins, and jumps. It's cross-cut toe design ensures a secure grip on the ice, enabling swift and seamless rotations.
・This model is developed for skaters whose routines focus on steps and spins.
・The rocker is designed longer than the "San" model, allowing for steps and turns that make use of skating speed.
・Compared to the "Sora" model, the edge curve is sharper with an R2,000mm radius and the toe is smaller, which means the point where the edge curve begins is later than with other products. This makes it ideal for more technical skaters.
・The toe is cross-cut, making it easier to grip the ice during take-offs for jumps.

We will ship from Japan. Once you add the item to your cart and select the shipping country, the shipping fees will be displayed.
After confirming your order, we will check the availability of the product. If the item is in stock, it will be shipped within 7 business days.
The product is also sold in our physical stores in Japan. In case of stock shortage, the order will be processed as a pre-order. If your order is a pre-order, we will contact you via email.
SHARPENING SERVICE
Before shipping, we will sharpen the blades in Japan. Since Sharpening YS blades requires skill, skilled artisans will perform the sharpening.
If you have specific sharpening preferences, we can accommodate them. Please let us know your request when placing your order.

Strong and Flexible Material
We conducted rigorous testing to find the best steel that is both flexible to better resist bending and impacts but also highly durable. With our strong and flexible material and our original and unique shape, our blades provide marvelous shock absorption when landing jumps, highly reducing the burden on the body and preventing injuries.
Some other advantages of our steel blades are the remarkably smooth glide they provide, enabling skaters to effortlessly build speed and maintain momentum between jumps and during spins.
Moreover, our blades require far less frequent sharpening than those made with alternative materials.

Single-Unit Structure (Crafting Blades without Welding)
Our blades are carved from a single block of steel weighing about 10 kg (22 lbs) by a five-axis machining center, and the finished product only weighs about 280 g (less than 10 oz), leaving only 3% of the original block. While traditional models often suffer from inconsistencies among each product and a lack of durability due to the welding of three separate components, we provide longterm and consistent support to skaters by eliminating those issues with our century-long experience specializing in steel and advanced metal processing technology.

Strict Quality Control
We understand that consistent skating conditions at every practice and competition are essential for skaters. That is why we meticulously control the quality of our products to a precision of several tens of microns, in a temperature and humidity-controlled environment, ensuring uniformity across every item. Our blades are designed for longevity, requiring minimal sharpening or replacement. However, when it is time to replace, you can trust that the new blades will deliver the same exceptional feel as the previous ones.

Please note that returns or exchanges are not possible after the skate blades have been installed.
For returns or exchanges, the customer will be responsible for the round-trip shipping fees.

We will sharpen the blades before we ship the product, delivering them “ready to use.”
The frequency of sharpening depends on your preference, but for most YS BLADES users who skate regularly, we recommend sharpening once every 6-12 months. When sharpening, please note that our material is highly delicate, and that applying too much pressure when sharpening can leave the surface wavy and uneven.
